HIV/AIDS  PROGRAMME

Despite the  seriousness  of  HIV/AIDS    more  news of  HIV  infection  continues  to  be  reported everyday  in  Kenya  and  all  over  the  world.This  pushed  RIPHEP  in  to  a  vigorous  campaign against  the  the  virus  spread  in  the  people  of  Kenya by  bringing  outreaches  down  to  the  people  in  the  communities  to  facilitate  the  provision  of  these  services.

RIPHEP  has  adopted  the  VCT  system since  it works  in  a  friendly way. VCT  services  offer  the  possibility  of  benefit to  the  community  by  norm  analyzing  the  existance  of  HIV/AIDS  thereby  reducing  the  stigma  and  promoting  awareness

After  RIPHEP has  done  voluntary  counselling  we refer our  clients  to  the  nearest  testing  centres  which  we  are  linked  to.

RIPHEP  IS  THEREFORE  AN  ORGANISATION  DEDICATED  TO  HELPING  PEOPLE  LEARN  TO LIVE   A  NORMAL  LIFE  DESPITE  OF  HIV/AIDS, POVERTY  AND  ILLITERACY
